Here’s an early pass on Thanos’s armor for Avengers, Infinity war, and Endgame. This version actually got pretty far. Definitely more Spartan than the final version I designed. The directors liked this, but it bounced back and I had to start from scratch. As a concept artist, you never really know the whole film. It’s changing as you’re working on it so being a Concept artist is always like trying to hit a moving target. I had an amazing time on this show working with the head of visual development Ryan Meinerding. The whole team at Marvel was incredible!
