En tous cas faites gaffe, en regardant le trailer je me suis fait super mal en trébuchant sur un truc, je sais pas encore su c'était l'égo de Todd Phillips ou son mépris pour le genre mais ne vous en faites pas, l'enquête est en cours

Todd Phillips s'est exprimé au CinemaCon à propos des éléments musicaux :

"We never really talked about it like that, but I like to say it's a film where music is an essential element. To me, that doesn't veer too far from the first film. Arthur [Fleck]'s weird and aloof and all these things, but he has music in him. He has a grace to him. That informed a lot of the dancing in the first film. It didn't feel like that big of a step here. It's different, but I think it'll make sense when you see it."

Et sur le choix de Lady Gaga :

"We cast Gaga because she's magic. I was a producer on A Star Is Born. That was the first time I really met her and got to watch her work. As we were writing this script, Scott [Silver], who I wrote it with, kept going back to her."

J'arrêterai le jour où Todd Phillips fera un bon film, qui se tient sans contresens ou message craspouille (ou le jour où il montrera un minimum de considération pour son matériau source)

En gros on peut supposer que son état psychique s'est aggravé; vu que les parenthèses musicales pour lui est souvent synonyme d'épisodes de délire, comme on a pu le voir dans le premier film (scène des toilette, de la salle de bain, de l'escalier...etc)

Petite préférence pour le premier trailer

Perso' le premier Trailer m'avait un peu laissé de marbre.

Un bien bon second trailer, tout en douceur.. enfin presque , le premier était plus fort je trouve, mais celui-ci donne un peu plus d'éléments pour se faire une idée. J'ai assez hâte en tout cas.

Joaquin Phoenix : "It was important to protect that with poor phrasing and occasional bum notes. Arthur grew up hearing his mother play these songs on the radio. He’s not a singer, and he shouldn’t sound like a professional singer. He should sound like somebody that’s taking a shower and just bursts out into song."

"Gaga was always very encouraging of just, 'Go with what you feel, it’s fine'. For somebody who’s not a performer in that way, it can be...uncomfortable to do that, but also very exciting."
