It is the reopening of Metropolis Central Library post the battle for Metropolis. Lexcorp funded the construction because “Intellect is man’s biggest strength” which seems to be a direct shot at Superman.
Other small details tied to that scene, the movie will have an almost red carpet montage where the rich and famous are asked their views about the Superman who appeared in the public eye recently. The red carpet setup is attached, and will include both Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor being asked that question by Lois Lane and Clark Kent on the carpet.
“I met everyone in the Justice League except Henry Cavill and Ezra Miller,” Fisher told EW. “It was surreal. You get this idea of going to work on a Hollywood set as being really stressful and nerve-wracking. But it blew that stereotype away. If they did have stressful times, it wasn’t while I was there.” Fisher also formed a friendship with Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
When asked what fans could expect from Zack Snyder’s upcoming superhero movie, Fisher teased with a laugh “Let me tell you, man, people are in for a hell of a treat.”
After months of principal photography in Detroit, Michigan, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is "getting ready to wrap it up and take off" as Zack Snyder has informed CBS Detroit this morning. The director called into the local radio station, which he once used to defend the Aquaman character, now just to thank the city for accommodating the production. "I just wanted to say thanks to you guys for being strong supporters of the movie and coming down and saying hey, and just, I’ve had a great time in Michigan, I just wanted to say thanks to you guys and just to Detroit itself," Snyder said. "I know this is the venue for talking to all of Detroit." When asked where filming is headed next, Zack Snyder confirmed that "We head to Chicago after this, then a couple more locations, but we're getting close [to wrapping completely]."
Filming in Michigan lasted six months. Or maybe a year. Your guess is as good as ours. With the crew set to leave for Chicago, we talked to Snyder on one of the crew's final days in Michigan about all the secrets surround the set. As much as the director loved to reveal his passion for movies and this state, he laughed when we discussed the secretive nature of the production :
"Yeah, a lot of secrets. You know, we just want the movie to be surprising when it comes out. We do a lot of crazy stuff in the movie so we wouldn't want you to get shortchanged by the Internet, which loves to do that by the way," he added.
