"I think it's already in the works. You know, we just had a terrific two years of just bringing it out and everybody coming together to support it. We need a little bit of a break, we need to regroup, and Ryan [Coogler] needs to get back into the lab so it's going to take a while, but really excited for you guys to see that."
"I always try to do positive words and positive thinking and I believe that good words manifest, so I'm manifesting a Black Panther 3. Why not?"
"If it's, uh, let's just say, let's just say..." Wright responded, trailing off as she carefully chose her words. "I would like to continue with Shuri. She's one of my favorite characters, such a blessing, honestly, I kid you not. I'm so grateful for her."
Hostin probed further, asking Wright if "Black Panther 3" was on the horizon.
"There's a lot coming up," Wright said, smiling as she answered.

“Ryan’s a genius. I called him and apologized for talking about the movie, and right there sitting with him was his beautiful wife. He’s still Ryan, humble and full of ideas. Whatever he writes, I’ll read.”
Jeff Sneider : "With Marvel reshuffling the deck in advance of 'Avengers: Doomsday' and 'Avengers: Secret Wars,' and Robert Downey Jr. coming back not as Iron Man but as Doctor Doom, I’m told that the door is firmly open for T’Challa to be recast via the magic of the multiverse."
"I heard that an actor was actually offered the role this past fall, a couple of months after Downey’s big reveal at Comic-Con, but they turned it down, not wanting to jeopardize their career momentum by stepping into Boseman’s gigantic shoes, which may be too big to fill, even for Hollywood’s most talented Black actors."
"Now, it’s unclear whether T’Challa will appear in 'Avengers: Doomsday,' or 'Avengers: Secret Wars,' but I think it’s fair to assume that whoever is cast as the character will reprise the role in 'Black Panther 3,' which has been discussed by everyone from Ryan Coogler to Denzel Washington."
CBM a écrit:YouTuber @She_DreadzMe has reached out to some industry contacts, and was told that John Boyega (the Star Wars sequel trilogy), Damson Idris (Snowfall, Swarm) and David Oyelowo (Selma, Silo) all turned down the opportunity to suit-up as the MCU's new Black Panther.
“The truth is, there’s no truth to those rumors. Never say never to anything, we haven’t really had a lot of creative conversations with Ryan Coogler yet, because he’s finishing his film Sinners, which comes out this year. We’ll get into it later this year, but everything you read online is not true, if for no other reason than we just haven’t started [working on it].”
