Synopsis: Based on the magazine article by Joshuah Bearman (“Argo”), who will also serve as executive producer, “The Big Cigar” is the incredible true story of Hollywood revolution meeting social revolution: it’s a wild caper of Black Panther founder Newton escaping from the FBI to Cuba with the assistance of famed producer Bert Schneider in an impossibly elaborate plan — involving a fake movie production — that goes wrong every way it possibly can. Season-to-date, NCIS: Hawai’i is averaging 7.8 million total viewers and a 0.5 demo rating (with Live+7 playback data), up 4% in viewers vs. Season 2 but down a tick in the demo. Out of the 14 drama series that CBS has aired this TV season, it ranks No. 6 in total audience (behind Tracker, NCIS, FBI, Blue Bloods and The Equalizer) and eighth in the demo.
It shows how much linear network broadcast has changed as “NCIS: Hawai’i” was the #12 most watched non-sports program on broadcast and averages 7.8 million linear viewers along with 10 million in Live+35 multi-platform viewing.

Non en réalité même si ces audiences semblent bonnes par rapport à d'autres programmes et notamment des programmes diffusés sur certaines chaines concurrentes (ABC, FOX, CW) ça reste bas pour CBS et notamment pour un spin-off de cette licence (NCIS) qui a dominé le genre pendants des années avec Les Experts...
La série mère fait encore ces dernières années autour de 12 millions de téléspectateurs (alors qu'ils en sont à plus de 20 saisons), NCIS Los Angeles faisait des scores similaire à NCIS Hawaii sur ses dernières saisons mais après une dizaine de saisons de bons et loyaux services avec des pics à plus de 18 millions sur plusieurs saisons, même NCIS New Orleans tapait entre 9 et 17 millions sur ses quatre premières saisons ce qui a justifié qu'elle dure sept saisons.
Là ils ont voulu couper court après 3 saisons parce que au-delà la série entre en syndication a priori or les résultats ne sont pas à la hauteur de la licence donc ils préfèrent logiquement libérer un créneau pour une nouveauté l'année qui arrive plutôt que de s'entériner dans des frais pour une série non rentable.
Jeff Daniels se la joue Brian Cox (Succession)...intéressé.

Le film est très sympa donc assez intéressé, reste à voir qui aura le premier rôle.
EDIT :
Je ne la regarde pas celle-ci, c'est juste pour souligner la multiplication des splits par Netflix, à se demander s'ils ne vont pas continuer de plus en plus comme ça pour finir par adopter ce nouveau modèle de diffusion, en tout cas pour leurs séries les plus regardées.
