Ayant vraiment apprécié les 3 derniers, j'irai voir celui-ci avec plaisir ! Hâte de voir ces premières images du coup

Franchement pas mal !

Pas mal, mais on a régressé sur la mocap des singes. On est revenu au niveau de Origines (2011), avec des personnages qui flirtent légèrement avec la vallée de l'étrange, là où Suprématie (2017) était bluffant de réalisme.

Pourtant, c'est une technologie relativement bien maîtrisée, et il me semblait que la production avait pris son temps sur ce quatrième film.

Du reste, curieux de voir ce qu'une nouvelle saga peut donner. En espérant que l'influence DIsney ne fasse pas une Star Wars.

Bof le setup dans le présent me seduisait beaucoup plus

Le trailer donne bien envie, beaucoup de situations et de plans qui rappellent le tout premier film de Frank Schaffner, mais effectivement les singes sont visuellement moins impressionnants que ceux de Suprématie, peut-être le fait qu'ils parlent vend davantage le trucage, accentue l'uncanny valley... en tous cas j'ai hâte de le voir, celui là !

J'espère qu'ils vont encore travailler les visuels, parce que ça brille encore pas mal sur les singes là.
Sinon, l'histoire a l'air intéressante.

Wes Ball sur la période et le lieu :

“We have this cut, ‘Many generations later,’ and I’ll just say it’s hundreds of years later, not thousands, hundreds. We never really put a date on it, to be honest. It’s just a long enough distance that stories can, the game of telephone through history, it starts to erode and change and get lost.”

We do think about those things and the people who notice it fishes from LA, we probably notice some things, but the journey is, it’s a journey movie.”
